Day 1 : Arrival at Bangalore
- Welcome to Bangalore! Once you arrive at the airport, head towards the hotel and check in. Have your breakfast, relax for some time and proceed for a city tour.
- Begin your day with a visit to the popular LalBagh Botanical Gardens. The garden also houses an aquarium and a lake, which adds to the already existing charm of this garden. In this 240 acres colourful garden, you can witness a variety of flora and fauna with a vast collection of India’s rare tropical plants and ancient trees. Bird watchers can spot bird species like Myna, Parakeets, Common Egret, Pond Heron, etc.
- Later proceed to the other popular destinations namely, Ulsoor Lake, Iskcon temple and Art of Living International Center. Ulsoor Lake is dotted with numerous scenic islands. Enjoy boating at the lake and take stopovers at some of the islands. Experience and feel the divine peace at the Iskcon temple. This contemporary designed temple is dedicated to Lord Krishna. With serene surroundings, this temple becomes a beautiful sight in the nightlight. Later, relax and rejuvenate yourself at the Art of Living International Center.
- Spend your evening at MG Road, which is a popular shopping and entertainment hub or Mantri mall that is one of the biggest malls in India.
Later head back to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 2 : Bangalore City Tour
- Begin your day with delicious breakfast at the hotel and get prepared for the Bangalore city tour.
- There are plenty of places to visit in Bangalore, and one such eye-catching tourist attraction is the majestic Bangalore Palace. Spread over an area of 454 acres, this palace is enclosed by beautiful gardens and highlights splendid carvings both inside and outside the palace. You must visit the palace to witness the royal culture, intricate wooden carvings, Victorian furniture, floral motifs and neo-classical styles.
- This day, you also cc and opt for the Grand Safari ride throughout the park. The safari takes you to an 8 km long way, where you can spot Tigers, Crocodiles, Lions amongst numerous other wildlife in the park. Kids can also enjoy an elephant ride. For thrill seekers, there are trekking trails around this national park as well as fun activities like River rafting, Outdoor camping, etc.
- Later visit Bull Temple that is dedicated to Nandi bull. The temple is associated with religious and mythological significance.
Enjoy overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 3 : Bangalore to Mysore
- Start the 3rdday of Bangalore and Mysore tour package, with some hot delicious breakfast and check out from the hotel. Proceed to Mysore.
- The total distance between Bangalore to Mysore is 150 km., which can be covered by 3to 4 hours of drive. En route, take a halt at Srirangapatna and make pit stops at various sightseeing places. Visit Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple situated on an islet formed by Cauvery River and Coleroon River. This Vishnu temple is enormous in size and spread across 156 acres of land. As you move ahead, you reach DariyaDaulatBagh also known as Tipu Sultan’s Summer Palace. This 18th-century palace displays beautiful Indo-Sarcenic style and is mostly made of teak wood. Next, you proceed to other sightseeing places like Nimishamba Temple, Ganjam and Gumbuz.
- After reaching Mysore, take your meal and check in the hotel. Later proceed for local sightseeing.
- Begin your Mysore sightseeing by paying a visit to Krishna Raja Sagar Dam, Brindavan Gardens, St.Philomena’s Church and Mysore Palace.
- Krishna Raja SagarDamis built across River Kaveri. It has an ornamental garden called Brindavan Gardens, which is a popular tourist sight. This botanical park has light and music fountain that attracts over two million tourists every year. St.Philomena’s Church is one of the largest churches in India and second largest church in Asia. The church captivates tourists for its architectural excellence and religious significance. Mysore Palace is another magnificent building with marvelous interiors, spacious halls, paintings and immense architectural beauty. Here you get to see an excellent combination of Indo-Saracenic architecture. The palace looks at its best when it is illuminated on festive occasions and Sundays.
Later head back to your hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 4 : Mysore to Bangalore and Departure
- This is the last day of your Bangalore and Mysore holiday packages. Start your day with early morning breakfast. Check out from the hotel and if time permits explore Mysore some more.
- Visit Mysore Zoo, which is the oldest and well-maintained zoo in India. It is spread over 157 acres of land and houses over 168 different species. You can also drive to Chamundi Hills to see the picturesque Karanji Lake located on the footsteps of Chamundi Hills. There is also a small temple of Goddess Chamundeshwari on the hill, which you can see.
- Later drive back 3 hours to Bangalore to catch your flight back home
